Jessica, so much good material in this post, but I had to comment about two specific things: (1) That McSweeney's article was SO good. I sent it to every PS parent I know and we were all cracking up. (2) Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow was fantastic!

I really grappled with this tension for a long time. It took a while, but I eventually became comfortable with accepting that these two things weren’t in as much conflict as I thought.
Great post! I'm defining succcess by taking a shower and getting outside everyday, even if it's just for a few minutes. As mom to a 3 month old those are still big wins :)
