I love this, Jessica. Thank you for voicing all of the things that regularly take up space in my brain *and then help me work through it* in a logical, clear way. I'm dealing with the same situation (you know), the same struggle with my own newsletter, so it was extra helpful to read this. Thanks for all you do here ❤️

Sarah, just please don't stop entirely... I'll be so sad.... but of course do what is best for you! ;)

I have no plans to stop entirely (or even cut back), I’m just trying to figure out how to keep going in a sustainable way. (And have I told you I’m working on turning my newsletter into a book? 🤫)

Ah this is so spot on, and I very much feel the same. I struggle to decide what to let go of as I do want to do it all! A wise friend once said to me "every decision is a sacrifice". You have given some great tips here to help decide if continuing to do something is worth our time or not. Thank you for the post! PS for someone who is not a "writer", you are a really good one!

Well done, Jessica. Realigning and rebooting are critical steps we all have to take at times. (Some of us more than others.) Thank you for sharing your process and perspective. It's very helpful.

Jessica, way to go making this decision for yourself and thanks for explaining your thought process. I'm about to start a new job and this is helpful for me to frame how I can think about letting go of a few commitments for which I will no longer have time. Thank you!
